AUGUST 24, 1939 - OCTOBER 12, 2022 Mr. James Ignatius Broussard Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, October 15, 2022 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau, LA, for Mr. James Ignatius Broussard, 83, who entered eternal rest, Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at his residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Cemetery. Rev. Mark Kramer, S.J. will officiate at the Mass of Christian burial. Mr. Broussard is survived by his wife, Mrs. Wilia Arceneaux Broussard of Opelousas, LA; three sons, Michael S. Broussard, David T. Broussard, Sr. (Nija) both of Church Point, LA and James C. Broussard (Dymphna) of Lafayette, LA; one daughter, C. Stacey Broussard of Houston, TX; thirteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Broussard was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford & Albertha Broussard; two sisters, Anna Ruth Rowe and Rose Marie Broussard; two brothers, Herman Broussard and Nelson Broussard. Visiting hours will be observed from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home.
