Hicks, Isiah D. Hicks, Serenity F. Hicks, and Leilani Winbush; two godchildren, Christie Gale Coleman of Opelousas, LA, whom she raised as a loving daughter and Kiara Savoy of Beaumont, TX; a special friend, Diane Lewis Vinatte of Harvey, LA, who she grew to love as a sister and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Mrs. Hicks was preceded in death by parents, Alex Thomas and Celestine Thomas; her brother, Artre Lawrence “Poochie” Frank and her sister, Eliza Diana Thomas Dunbar.
