Obituary for Mr. Eldrick "Butch" Thomas
Mr. Eldrick “Butch” Thomas
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, February 12, 2022, at First Benjamin Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA, for Mr. Eldrick “Butch” Thomas, who entered eternal rest, Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Iberia Medical Center.
Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park, LA.
Mr. Thomas is survived by his daughter, Courtney Henry of Austin, TX; a brother, James Chatman, Sr. of Opelousas, LA; two grandchildren, Justin and Shana Henry both of Austin, TX; two special nieces, Cynthia Thomas Benjamin and LaShonda Davis both of Opelousas, LA and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester Thomas, Sr. & Thelma Williams Thomas; siblings, Sylvester “VT” Thomas, Jr., Richard Thomas, Sr., Irene “Bonnie” Simpson, Emma “MaMa” T. Johnson and Brenda “Lady” Davis.
The family request visiting hours be observed from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Williams Funeral Home.
