Interment will be in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Grand Coteau. The Rev. Derrick Weingartner, pastor of St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church, will officiate at the services.

Mrs. Perrodin was a native of Bellevue and a resident of Sunset. She was a parishioner of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the choir and the CTK rosary group. Ms. Gloria was a kind soul who never met a stranger; she loved big, and she loved all. Her pride and joy were her beloved husband, her children and her grandchildren. Everyone she saw was greeted with a big hug and a kiss, and all of her bank patrons felt like they had her undivided attention. She made everyone feel special with her affection, her food, and her fellowship as a devoted church member of Christ the King parish. Her family and dear friends will especially miss her soft-spoken demeanor and her sweet ways.

Survivors include two sons, Gilbert "Guilbo" Perrodin and Gabriel "Pandy" Perrodin, Jr. and his wife, Mary; five grandchildren, Tasha' Perrodin, Narada Perrodin, JP Perrodin, Derriona Perrodin and Jehi'el Perrodin; one step grandson, Kerry Thomas; four great grandchildren, Desmond Roberts, Kylee Roberts, Joshua Jenkins and Kaine Bernard; one brother, Peter Francis Dargin, Sr. and his wife, Catherine; four sisters, Fabiola Lemonia, Helen Biagas and her husband, Joseph Ronald, Theresa Lavergne and her husband, Raphael, and Brenda Mary Mamou and her husband, Clancy; one sister-in-law, Viola Dargin; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, especially one niece in particular, Mary Hansberry, affectionately known as "Sis".

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gabriel Perrodin, Sr.; her parents, Luke and Mary Maudrie Dargin; three sisters, Joyce Ann Jackson and her husband, Rufus, Elizabeth Morrison and her husband, Larry, and Margaret Hebert; one brother, Abram Dargin; and one brother-in-law, Frederick Lemonia.

A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 a.m. Saturday until service time on Saturday.
