• Notes

  (Research):The father/son relationship between Leo Simien and George Simien is not verified but only an assumption we made. If anybody has better information we will be glad to adjust our findings. Unspecified sources told us that George's father was not married but gave his son his name. The father could also be Francoise Simien, the brother of Leo or even somebody else. But Bill Simien told us that George Simien belongs to the line of Alexander Simien, that's why we incorporated the connection the way we did. Etha Simien Amling Birthday is not clear yet. The draft card says April 5, 1893 and the tombstone says May 5, 1893.
