Notes - (Research):It's assumed that this is the stepson of Antoine DeSimiane, because the younger Antoine was never described in the will of October 25,1791 as a son, but as a little boy. Antoine was mentioned in the will of October 25, 1791 as being 5 years old but he was not mentioned in the will of September 4, 1800. In several family trees there is an Antoine Simien (his father suppose to be Antoine Simien=our Antoine DeSimiane) mentioned who married a Marie Euphorsine Decuir (entry in Father Hebert's book: Antoine neg. lib. (Marie, neg. lib) married 13 May 1806 FROSINE, grife lib. (Opel. Church: volume 1, BR, page 202). We assume this is the same person (#6568).
